Spanning almost 150,000 square feet, Tokyo Night & Light is the largest architectural projection-mapped display in the world!
Designed by Japanese architect Kenzo Tange, this iconic building (conveniently across the street from my hotel!) now serves as the backdrop for a jaw-dropping and record-breaking projection mapping show.
Unveiled on April 27, ‘Godzilla: Attack on Tokyo!’ American fans will appreciate the special connection between Godzilla and the Shinjuku ward, famously showcased in the 1991 film ‘Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah’. The program changes nightly but its hallmark is massive explosions of color and simultaneous soundtrack.
After the show, a ride to the 44th floor of the building offered spectacular views of nighttime in Tokyo!
